Eligibility Criteria
4.1 Educational Qualification
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Chemical, etc.)

- ITI certification for technical assistant positions
- Professional certifications in relevant fields
Desirable:

4.2 Age Criteria
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years (as on closing date)
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-servicemen – as per rules
4.3 Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2-15 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in metallurgical plants, steel industry, or engineering consultancy preferred

Salary and Benefits
Pay Level and Pay Matrix:
Compensation structure follows 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations with competitive salary packages.
Basic Pay Range:
- Junior Engineers: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400
- Assistant Engineers: Rs. 25,500 – 81,100
- Technical Assistants: Rs. 19,900 – 63,200
Allowances:
- Dearness Allowance (DA): As per government rates
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): 8%/16%/24% based on location
- Transport Allowance (TA): Rs. 3,600 – 7,200 per month

Job Responsibilities
Core Functional Duties:
- Design and execute engineering projects in metallurgy and related fields
- Provide technical consultancy services to clients
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on project delivery
Administrative/Supervisory Duties:
